The moment that fal'Cie from Pulse — the feared and detested lowerworld — awoke from its slumber, peace on Cocoon came to an end.
Fal'Cie curse humans, turning them into magic-wielding servants.
They become l'Cie — chosen of the fal'Cie.
Those branded with the mark of a l'Cie carry the burden of either fulfilling their Focus or facing a fate harsher than death itself.

When i got this game i was very excited about it, play final fantasy from 7 onwards i was pumped about 13. this game on the other hand isn't as good as the other ones. Not bad, but the fighting isn't as good as it could have been. Auto attack ruins the game which you end up using all of the time. Other than that it is a very beautiful looking game. Played about 18 hours so far and starting to get a little frustrated with the fights. Would recommend only if you like final fantasy series otherwise the fighting will put you off. Other than that great game.

Love the Final Fantasy series. I have FFI, FFII, FFIV, FFV, and FFVI for gameboy and FFI for SNES, also have FFVII for PS1 and FFX, FFX-2, and FFXII for PS2, but then got a 360 and realised I couldn't get anymore so when I found out FFXIII was for 360 I had to have it.
