- GAME.com.au limits transactions to personal shoppers only (limit of 5 per customer).
- Multiple orders or multiple accounts designed to circumvent this restriction may result in order cancellation at GAME's discretion.
- All prices are quoted including GST and are accurate to the best of GAME's ability.
- Inaccuracies in product description, pricing and/or stock availability may result in GAME's inability to supply products as indicated.
- "Web Only" pricing is applicable to GAME.com.au only and is not available in-store.
Standard Refund Policy - Trade Practices Act
We do not normally give refunds if you:
- Simply change your mind or
- Make a wrong decision
Customers must produce a receipt as proof of purchase. You can choose between a refund, exchange or credit;
- Where goods are faulty
- Have been wrongly described
- Are different from a sample shown to you
- Do not do what they are supposed to do
If a product purchased from GAME.com.au is either faulty, been wrongly described, different from the sample shown or does not do what it's supposed to, please contact our customer service department at customerrelations@game.com.au .
Note: The below Terms & Conditions are an addition to you statuatory rights as a consumer under the Trade Practices Act.
"No Risk Gaming Guarantee" - Terms & Conditions
To qualify for the "No Risk Gaming Guarantee" the customer must be a current Reward Card Member. Non Reward Card members will only be offered a refund or exchange in compliance with The Trade Practices Act.
(Terms & Conditions- Reward Card Members Only)
- Goods may be returned for a full refund or exchanged within seven (7) days, provided they are in a saleable condition and are accompanied by an original receipt. Customers are limited to two exchanges within the seven (7) day period.
- PC CD-ROM Games, PC DVD-ROM Games, Console Hardware and Accessories are excluded from the "No Risk Gaming Guarantee". These products will only be refunded or exchanged in compliance with the Trade Practices Act.
- GAME reserves the right to refuse refund or exchange if the item is not deemed saleable or is not accompanied by an original receipt.
- GAME reserves the right to alter or cancel the "No Risk Gaming Guarantee" without prior notice .
- Refunds for products returned within seven (7) days with a receipt will be provided according to the same tender type originally tendered by the customer (eg. If a customer paid cash, a cash refund will be given. If a customer paid using a card, the refund will be given to the same card only. If a customer pays using store credit vouchers, the refund will be given as store credit).
- Refunds for products returned after seven (7) days are at the discretion of GAME and will only be given in the form of store credit.
- Customers must supply an original receipt and provide proof of identification to be issued with a refund. If a customer refuses to give their name and contact number and/or provide proof of identification GAME may not be able to provide a full refund.
- These terms and conditions do not affect your privacy or statutory rights.

Price Guarantee - Terms & Conditions
- For price matching to be considered customers must produce copy of the lower price in the form of a catalogue, newspaper ad or competitor name, address and phone number.
- The competitor must be in local proximity to GAME for price matching to be considered.
- The competitor must have the item currently in stock for price matching to occur and must be identical, as determined by the manufacturer's model number.
- This policy excludes package deals and promotional offers.
- Price matching offer is not valid on any clearance lines.
- Offer not valid for items found on auction or e-retailers.
- Competitor must be selling a new item, not "used", "slightly-used" or "refurbished".
- GAME reserves the right to cancel this offer at any time if the item is below cost and reserves the right to alter Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
- All Price Guarantee Conditions above are not valid for GAME.com.au orders.
Trade-in - Terms & Conditions
- To qualify for Trade-in the customer must be a current Reward Card member.
- Photo identification will be required to trade in any item.
- Item must be in resalable condition. GAME reserves the right to refuse any item at its discretion.
- Item must include all supporting documents and include original DVD case, manual and sleeve.
- Consoles must be in full working order & be complete with original controller & cabling.
- Handheld consoles must include battery, power supply/charger unit. DS unit must include DS stylus pen
- PC titles are excluded from the Trade-in offer.
- GAME reserves the right to exclude certain titles from trade.
- Accepted formats for trade-in may vary from store to store and from time to time.
- Items may only be traded for store credit, no cash given. Further to this some states only permit trades towards another item in store and cannot provide trade value toward credit notes or gift vouchers.
- In the event that a customer wishes to return item(s) that was purchased as part of a trade in transaction/purchase. (ie A purchase where a customer trades his/her games towards another item(s) in store) GAME will offer an exchange for an item of equal value or store credit, where applicable, to the value of the total original purchase. A refund will only be offered in the circumstance that GAME can return the item(s) originally traded, in which case these items will be returned to the customer and the remaining balance refunded.
- Items purchased overseas may be refused trade in.

- Excludes Trade and Commercial buyers.

Pre-order Promise - Terms & Conditions
- A minimum $10.00 deposit is required to secure all pre-orders. Deposit is non-refundable.
- GAME offers the pre-order promise in good faith based on projected delivery dates and times provided by suppliers. However, unforeseen delivery or production problems may
result in new release titles being unavailable or delayed.
- GAME reserves the right to alter Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
Disc Warranty - Terms & Conditions
- To qualify for the Disc warranty customers must be a current gold card member and have a valid receipt.
- Disc warranty applies for a twelve (12) month period from date of issue.
- Items are exchanged at the store for the same item only.
- The disc is only exchanged; manuals and disc covers remain with the customer.
- Disc warranty is a once only exchange/repair within the 12 month period.
- If the same item is unavailable in-store a customer order will be placed to secure a working copy.
- If the item has been discontinued within the warranty period, customers may choose to have the disc repaired (repair process may take up to four (4) weeks to complete), or to replace the disc with any other game of their choice, to the same (current retail) value of the disc that is being returned under warranty.
- Disc warranty is an exchange, repair service and as such, customers are not entitled to refunds.
- The original customer receipt(s) will be retained by GAME as proof of purchase.
- This guarantee does not cover CDs that have been broken, cracked or chipped.
- Disc warranty applies to the following software formats only:
- PlayStation®3
- Xbox® 360
- Nintendo Wii™
- PC CD-ROM
- PlayStation®2
- Xbox®

Pre-Owned Console Hardware Extended Warranty - Terms & Conditions
- An original receipt with Extended warranty purchase must be provided to claim warranty.
- Pre-owned consoles are covered by a 12 month warranty from GAME. The extended warranty will cover the pre-owned console between 12 and 24 months from purchase date.
- Faulty Pre-owned consoles will be exchanged in store for another pre-owned console. Credit can be given for the value of the console at the time they exchange if there is no pre-owned console in stock.
- The extended warranty will cover normal wear and tear and minor accidents only.
- GAME will not be held liable for the loss of downloaded or stored content in the event of a console malfunction.
- Extended warranty is non transferable and non refundable.
- GAME reserves the right to alter Terms & Conditions without prior notice.
New Console Hardware Extended Warranty - Terms & Conditions
- An original receipt with Extended warranty purchase must be provided to claim warranty.
- New Xbox® 360, PlayStation®3, Nintendo Wii™, PlayStation®2 and Xbox® consoles will be covered by the manufacturer for the first 12 months as per normal included warranty. Between 12-24 months, the warranty will be covered by GAME and will be exchanged in store
- Consoles will be exchanged in store for another console during the 12-24 months. Store credit will be given for the value of the console at the time of exchange if the item has become obsolete and/or there is no suitable replacement console in stock. Suitable replacements may include preowned or refurbished consoles.
- Handheld Warranties will be covered by the normal manufacturers warranty agreement. The extended warranty will cover handheld consoles for an additional 12 months from this period and will be covered by GAME.
- The extended warranty will cover normal wear and tear and minor accidents only.
- GAME will not be held liable for the loss of downloaded or stored content in the event of a console malfunction.
